Please be sure and verify next steps before to proceed with VO registration process:

  • You have already a valid user certificate imported in your browser, if not, please consult documentation:

    • How to obtain a user certificate: to find your local Certificate Authority (CA) please [click here]
      Obtain a personal grid certificate that authenticates the user within the grid infrastructure and grants access to computing, storage and other types of resources.
      This can be done through the local grid Certificate Authority of your country, which can be found through the webpage of the International Grid Trust Federation
    • How to import certificate into your browser
      Your local CA should provide the information about use of grid certificates and how to import them in various internet browsers.

  • Your are familiar with VO registration procedure and Life Cycle, if not, please consult documentation:

      The registration is reviewed by the User Community Board of EGI, who then approves the request if the proposed VO does not overlap with the scope of existing VOs. EGI will support the connection of computing, storage and other types of resources provided by the scientific domain that approved VOs wish to use.

  • You already have a VOMS server setup and registered at GOCDB Portal or in the OSG infrastructure, if not and you need a support, you will be able to request it during VO registration process, otherwise please consult documentation:
