Description
OiPub is building a searchable organised library of all scientific papers with an integrated, expert moderated discussion platform and a new form of open access publishing system built around it.
Our focus is on making research more FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) while promoting the open science movement. We do this through our library and discussion platform with AI paper topic recognition and topic-based user privileges. This allows us to make:
Papers easier to find
Research niches easier to follow
Publishing research faster and cheaper
Finally, we will provide a new model of open access science publishing that is low-cost and scalable while maintaining the rigour required of science publishing.
OiPub is a project by Omni Iota Science Limited, a startup co-founded by Robert Bianchi (MSc Materials Science) & Andrew Said (MSc Artificial Intelligence). OiPub received recognition and funding through the MITA Validator 2020 programme where it was approved, selected and successfully completed the MITA YouStartIt 2020 Accelerator. OiPub is currently working towards implementing its first open Beta and widespread release.
