Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all members of BioISI Virtual Organisation,
hereafter referred to as the bioisi VO, with reference to use of the EGI Infrastructure.
The VO management team owns and gives authority to this policy.

Goal and description of the bioisi VO:
The bioisi VO's goal is to provide computational resources to support to the activities of the research groups of the Institute of Biosystems and Integrative Systems (BioISI).
The Biosystems and Integrative Systems (BioISI) is a research unit of the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon, whose main research areas are Biomedicine, Biotechnology & Bioresources, Condensed Matter & Biological Physics and Bioinformatics & Modelling.
Usage of the resources mediated by the bioisi VO is exclusively for non-profit scientific research or educational activities of BioISI.
The bioisi VO, as well as the resource providers and the mediator (EGI) must be acknowledged in any scientific publications resulting from the use of any provided resources.

Members and Managers of the bioisi VO agree to be bound by the Acceptable Usage Rules, bioisi VO Security Policy and other relevant EGI Policies, and to use the Infrastructure only in the furtherance of the stated goal of the bioisi VO.
