Description

Fermilab Virtual Organization (VO) - The Fermilab VO is an "umbrella" VO that includes the Fermilab Campus Grid (FermiGrid) and Fermilab Grid Testing (ITB) infrastructures, and all Fermilab computing activities that are not big enough to have their own Virtual Organization. Broadly these include the intensity frontier program, theoretical simulations, fixed target analysis, and accelerator and beamline design as well as activities performed by the Fermilab Campus Grid administrators.

Acceptable Use Policy

text This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all members of the Fermilab Virtual Organisation,
hereafter referred to as the VO, with reference to use of the European Grid Infrastructure (EGI),
hereafter referred to as the Grid.

The Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory owns and gives authority to this policy.

Goal and description of the Fermilab VO
---------------------------------------------------------------------
The Fermilab VO is an "umbrella" VO that includes the Fermilab Campus Grid (FermiGrid) and Fermilab Grid Testing (ITB) infrastructures, and all Fermilab computing activities that are not big enough to have their own Virtual Organization. Broadly these include the intensity frontier program, theoretical simulations, fixed target analysis, and accelerator and beamline design as well as activities performed by the Fermilab Campus Grid administrators.

Members and Managers of the VO agree to be bound by the Grid Acceptable Usage Rules, VO Security Policy and other relevant Grid Policies, and to use the Grid only in the furtherance of the stated goal of the VO.
