Description

The PADME VO allows the members of the PADME Collaboration to perform all the computing activities relevant for the PADME experiment. Use of the available resources must follow the policy defined by the Collaboration.

Acceptable Use Policy

Text This Acceptable Use Policy applies to all members of the PADME Virtual
Organisation (vo.padme.org), hereafter referred to as the VO, with
reference to use of the EGI infrastructure, hereafter referred to as the
Grid.

The PADME Collaboration owns and gives authority to this policy.

The goal of the VO is to allow the members of the PADME collaboration to
perform all the computing activities relevant for the PADME experiment,
making use of the available resources following the policy defined by
the Collaboration.

Members and Managers of the VO agree to be bound by the Grid Acceptable
Usage Rules, VO Security Policy and other relevant Grid Policies, and to
use the Grid only in the furtherance of the stated goal of the VO.

Other requirements

Additional runtime requirements: - at least 4GB of VM for each job slot Software installation common items: - the full compiler suite (c/c++) should be installed in the WNs; - the recommended version of the compilers is 4.4.7; - other libraries required are: libpopt.so.0 - other applications required are: uuencode, uudecode, bc, curl; - high priority in the batch system for the padmesgm user (padme software general manager). Software installation setup (cvmfs sites): - the cvmfs area dedicated to the PADME experiment is called /cvmfs/padme.infn.it and is hosted at INFN CNAF - the software installation procedure for cvmfs sites will be described in an ad hoc document. Software installation requirements (non-cvmfs sites): - non-cvmfs sites are currently not supported.
